The Wolf Animatronic was a character cut from the 2014 horror video game Five Nights at Freddy's.
History[]
When Scott Cawthon was developing the 2014 horror game Five Nights at Freddy's, he originally planned the inclusion of a wolf animatronic. However, the idea was scrapped in favor of using Foxy the Pirate instead. The wolf would have functioned like the other animatronics in the game, attempting to get into the office of the security guard. It is assumed that it would have been possessed by the soul of a dead child like in the released lore.

- Though the original idea for the beaver animatronic was never used, aspects of it were used in the character of Twisted Wolf in the book series and Roxanne Wolf in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach.
- In Five Nights at Freddy’s: Special delivery, Foxy has a skin called Big Bad Foxy. Which depicting Foxy with wolf’s fur and skin, which is also be a likely reference to Foxy’s being Wolf animatronic’s replacement in the first game.
