Rodan or White Rodan is an planned kaiju for Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II.

She shown to care for her mate and was angered when the humans killed him. She also protective to Babygodzilla as well.

Production[]
Originally they had two Rodans with both of them being mates but it was eventually cut down to one male Rodan instead.
Draft One[]
She and her mate would be on a island when they terrorized humans until Mechagodzilla arrived and killed the male but send the female into the sea where she sank an nuclear submarine and become White Rodan before seeking out Babygodzilla and turn a city into an nesting ground. However she would be killed by Mechagodzilla later on.
Draft Two[]
The tank bottom of Mechagodzilla arrives to fight her instead in this draft and her mate who were normal pterodactyl with the male killed and she got sent into sea where she sank an nuclear submarine to become White Rodan and seek out to find Baby Godzilla. Like in first one she found BabyGodzilla and uses the city as an nesting area where she was killed by the complete Mechagodzilla.
Trivia[]
- A White Rodan strangly appears in Godzilla Kaiju Collection.
- Unlike the Rodan in the final film she don't interact with Godzilla in either draft.
