Unpublished Villains Wiki

Venom is a Symbiote that is planned for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and its future installments.

Venom was planned to be teased at the end of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, to be part of Sinister Six. However, his position was replaced by Rhino, as Sony had planned at the time for his own solo film. In addition, there are discussion of letting either Eddie Brock or Flash Thompson as Venom, but none of them come to fruition as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 performed poorly.

It is unknown who will play or voice Venom, but having Flash Thompson as Venom it will likely be Flash’s actor Chris Zylka. There are also rumors of Channing Tatum playing Venom.

Biography[]

The Amazing Spider-Man 2[]

Version 1[]

Marc Webb wanted this film to feature venom, with the Symbiote gain contact with Spider-Man after the loss of Gwen Stacy. Which at the same time amplified his anger and guilt over Gwen’s death. The film will end with Peter separating from Venom where it will bond with Eddie Brock at the end of the film. Though discussions of making Flash Thompson as Venom too. Similar to the Agent Venom storyline.
