Travis Bickle nicknamed as Taxi Driver is the main titular protagonist of the 1976 film of the same name as the protagonist's nickname constructed by Martin Scorsese.
He was portrayed by Robert De Niro in the final project.
Background History[]
He was once a Solider who got honorably discharged and worked as a Taxi Driver. He then is disgusted with crime like in the original version. Although, his many actions he does like attempting to assassinate a senator and saving Iris from Sport are what would be within the plot. He has a bigotry against pimps who were black and was originally written to have killed them in cold blood. However, their race was changed to make Travis more likeable-despite his racism being implied in the finished project.
Video Game[]
It was said he would be implemented onto a video game as a playable character. However, the idea of such was going to be scrapped, leaving this as an unpublished idea that was pushed aside never to be pursued.
