Edward Nygma, also known as the Riddler, was the planned minor antagonist of Ben Affleck’s The Batman, as well as Zack Synder‘s planned Justice League: Part Two.
He was planned to first appear in The Batman then have a prominent role in Justice League: Part Two. Being the one who solved the Anti-life equation.
It is unknown who will play Riddler.
Biography[]
Riddler would be first introduced in The Batman, then he would have a bigger role in Justice League: Part Two. Where Lex Luthor gave Riddler the anti-life equation to solve it. Eventually, Riddler successfully solved the anti-life equation. However, seeing himself lost meaning after solving the world’s greatest riddle of all time, he ends his life in front of Batman.

- Riddler is also mentioned by August Smith's Neighbor alongside Mad Hatter and Joker in Peacemaker.
- Riddler’s shirt is briefly seen in Batcave in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
- While Ben Affleck’s film converted into The Batman Starring Robert Pattinson, Riddler remained in the film, played by Paul Dano.
