Rava was set to be a major antagonist in the 2020 Sonic the Hedgehog film. He is an alien lizard who is after Sonic's power, planning to use it to take over the universe.
Biography[]
In the movie's original script, Rava was, alongside Robotnik, the one who sought to capture Sonic and use his powers to conquer the universe, presumably being the reason the hedgehog ended up on Earth in the first place. Ultimately, Rava was cut from the script, with his role given to the Echidna tribe led by Pachacamac.

- Though he has yet to appear in the films, Rava was made canon to the Paramount continuity through the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 prequel comic, where Tails briefly runs into him in Marble Zone.
