Queen Beryl is a villain from the unmade Live Action/Animation hybrid of the 1994 American Sailor Moon by Renaissance-Atlantic Entertainment and Toon Makers, Inc.
She has been voiced by Adrienne Barbeau in test footage who also voiced Queen Serenity in the same test footage.
Appearance[]
She would have somewhat a drastic looking appearance with her only retaining her original counterpart hair color but with a different hair style. Rest of her have a light blue skin, with blue eye lids, an Disney villain inspired crown, and black eyes.
Personality[]
Not much is shown other than the fact she wants to destroy Princess Warriors and take their Jewls of Power to take over the universe. She also infuriated about them fleeing to Earth.
About[]
Queen Beryl would appeared as the main antagonist of the show and would have seized the Outer Planets and seized their Jewels of Power before turning to defeat the Princess Warriors (The name of the Senshi in this version) and take their Jewels of Power to conquer the Solar System. Queen Beryl interrupted the wedding between Sailor Moon and Prince Darian prince of the Earth but before she can take their Jewels of Power they made an ran for it to Earth on their Skyfliers where she attempted go give chase to them though mange to destroy the Gallion (an ship that have Darion and other planet royal family members are though would have revealed he survived).
She would have threatened planet Jupiter with her monsters and attempt to defeat the Princess Warriors.

- While the mention of the dialogue in the pilot that Queen Beryl defeated the Outer Planets but it is unknown if it meant to be versions of the Outer Guardians as the Outer Guardians were not yet introduced into Sailor Moon when this show is in production. Had this show been made there would been possible retcon Queen Beryl fighting and defeating the Outer Guardians then take their Jewels of Power in a future story if it lasted long enough to introduce them and would have made Queen Beryl worse.
- It would been likely she would be one of the only version of Queen Beryl where she meets the Outer Guardians aside from her Musical Counterpart given she would be dead by their introduction and they not awakened yet in the Manga and Anime. However Queen Beryl meets the Outers in Sailor Moon: Another Story where she is revived by Apsu and the game features the Outer Senshi which is set in the 90's Anime taking place between Sailor Moon S and Sailor Moon Super S.
- Queen Beryl’s appearance likely been inspired by various Disney villains given the era this was made.
- Ironically there was a scrapped Sailor Moon film by Disney where Queen Beryl would been portrayed by Geena Davis.
- This is the only version of Queen Beryl to be Karma Houdini as the show is went unmade with no proper conclusion with ending her being defeated thus she remains unpunished for her actions.
- Though had the show been greenlit she would have likely been defeated at some point like her other versions.
- The concept of a Live Action TV Show of Queen Beryl would follow suit in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon where she is portrayed by Aya Sugimoto although in that case it was an actual actor for that show as this Queen Beryl was fully animated.
