Pearl-Feather is an antagonist from the 1855 epic poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and was intended to serve as the main antagonist of the cancelled Disney animated film Hiawatha.
Biography[]
Much like in the original poem, Pearl-Feather was intended to be a rouge, evil Native American wizard. In the cancelled film, he was going to be responsible for creating a terrible plague on the tribes of the title character Hiawatha and his wife Minnehaha. His reasoning is unknown. The plague would claim many lives, including the chief of Hiawatha's tribe and Minnehaha. Hiawatha would then venture out to find Pearl-Feather's evil pet Serpents and slay them to reach the evil wizard, and proceeds to battle and eventually slay Pearl-Feather and rid the tribes of his plague.
