Obnotnik was one of the antagonists pitched for the cancelled DiC Entertainment series Super Sonic Sisters. He is Dr. Robotnik's nephew and a constant nuisance to the titular sisters Monica and Isabelle, constantly seeking to undermine their work.

The series' bible describes Robotnik's nephew as "a juvenile delinquent with pull", who would always try to scoop a news story, cast doubt on the twin sisters' reporting and just cause them trouble. He would, however, often end up putting himself in trouble, requring Monica and Isabelle to bail him out.
Trivia[]
- The concept of Dr. Robotnik having a nephew would be done in the 1993 Sonic the Hedgehog series, also by DiC Entertainment, where the evil scientist had his nephew Snively serve as his right-hand man. Unlike Obnotnik, who is implied to be a minor and is utterly incompetent, Snively is an adult and, despite having comedic moments, can be a serious threat to the heroes.
