Näkhäsh, otherwise known as the Father of Shadows, is the ultimate overarching antagonist of the Star Wars: Supernatural Encounters novel. He is the creator of evil and seeks to overthrow the Supreme Maker and destroy the multiverse so that he can make a new multiverse in his image.
Biography[]
A great Shining One whose name was lost to history, a Celestial, along with all the other Celestials, came into existence by the Father of Lights, otherwise known as the Supreme Maker. The Supreme Maker, through a song, created the Force, an energy field created by the life of the Celestials, and the Force is what fueled the Celestials. The Celestials and the Supreme Maker created the Prime Universe, and The Shining One, alongside the other Celestials, created a plane of existence called "The Planet of Erets", were beings created in the image of the Celestials, were made. There, the Celestials dwelt. The Shining One was made as the second most powerful being of the Celestials, and, because of this he has nigh-omnipotence. The Shining One had the ability to create his own concept. Against the Creators command, the great Celestial created his own notes, but, instead of using it for good, The Shining One used it for his own, selfish needs. Creating his own song, The Shining One created a discord, an abomination to the goodness of the Father of Lights.
Because of this, The Shining One created an abomination, the opposite concept of Good, a newly created one, Evil. Becoming it`s ruler, the great Celestial became God of Evil. Becoming, the Näkhäsh , the Father of Shadows. Näkhäsh got corrupted by his own concept that he made, and transformed from the second most beautiful being, to the most dark, and twisted abomination ever. Näkhäsh weaved the concept of Evil into the Force itself, corrupting half of the Force, and, because the concept of Evil is now part of the Force, Näkhäsh corrupted the Eret dimension, making it the source of all evil and a place where he will rule, creating the Dark Side of the Force, serving as his essence. Now the root of evil, the Celestials, and the natives of the dimension other than the Celestials, went into open chaotic warfare with each other, destruction and chaos were everywhere, and millions of lives were lost. The Celestials were powerless to stop the Father of Shadows.
Because of that, the Celestials were forced to abandon the dimension, which became the domain of Näkhäsh. The Celestials decided to create universes of their own universes, and the Supreme Maker created the center of the Multiverse, a holy place were Näkhäsh's evil cannot infect. One Celestial, named Wuztek, created children of his own, the Beldam Spirits. One was named Tiltony, another was named Horliss-Horliss, another was named Cold Danda Sine, and the last was named Splendid App. They were created by their father to serve for the greater good, but the Father of Shadows had other plans for them. Through his influence, the Father of Shadows corrupted Tiltony, and made her go on to commit crimes against the galaxy. This led to a turn of events that created the Dark Side of the Force, and evil leaked into the main universe. The Father of Shadow`s evil to this day still haunts the galaxy, though he and evil are prophesied to get vanquished in the end by the Son of Suns.
Appearance[]
Näkhäsh's original true form is stated to be the most beautiful being, a Shining One. However, when he transformed into the embodiment of evil itself, he became the most dark, twisted abomination in existence, stated to be a eldritch abominable entity made of shadows, and can take the form of a more humanoid being made of shadows. Näkhäsh takes a variety of disguised forms. To deceive people, he either takes the form of his original, beautiful form, the "Shining One", or a man with a serpent around the body with a lion head. The Father of Shadow's also disguises himself as a figure clad in yellow robes, called "The King in Yellow."
Personality[]
Näkhäsh was once a pure, being, but he was extremely prideful of himself, and used his powers to create an abomination, the concept of Evil. He ever since than became a cruel, ruthless, and sadistic. He hates the Supreme Maker, and wants to destroy the Multiverse and create a new one in his own image. He is also shown to have a pleasure in chaos and destruction, as he corrupted Eret and watched in glee as chaos and destruction spread across the dimension. Overall, Nakhash is a cruel, and sadistic deity.

- One of Näkhäsh's alias, "The King in Yellow", was named after Hastur, the King in Yellow from the Lovecraftian Mythos.
