The Mugger is an antagonist in the "I Feel Good" test animation of Shrek. He is a masked bandit who makes a living by robbing other people.
He was voiced by Tom Kenny.
Biography[]
As Shrek (voiced by the late Chris Farley) walks around Duloc singing "I Feel Good", the mugger ambushes Shrek on an attached bungee rope and confronts him, demanding Shrek to give him his money. However, he quickly becomes horrified when he realizes that his victim is an ogre and pleads for Shrek to spare him. After Shrek blows the mugger's dagger out of his hands, he proceeds to mock the mugger for his threats and threatens to squash him. The mugger then replies by commenting on Shrek's hideous appearance and Shrek takes pride in his insults. The mugger then proceeds to insult his mother, prompting an enraged Shrek to strangle him and proclaim that his mother was actually a saint. Shrek then states that the mugger should have moved on when he pleaded for mercy and proceeds to stretch him on his bungee rope before releasing him, sending him soaring out of town.
