The Mad Doctor is the secondary antagonist in the video game Epic Mickey and the main antagonist in it's sequel Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. In a earlier draft of the second games plot, the Mad Doctor's goal was to lure Mickey Mouse back into the Wasteland in order to revive the Shadow Blot.

Epic Mickey[]
Earlier trailers for the game show the Mad Doctor wearing the black cloak he wore in the cartoon he debuted in. However, this caused some to mistaken him for the Phantom Bolt, so the cloak was eventually removed.
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two[]
An early version of the Epic Mickey 2 storyline would have had the Mad Doctor revive the Shadow Blot by using the Blot's essence that Mickey Mouse soaked up in the previous game. The doctor would have been assisted in his plans by Big Bad Pete and Gremlin Prescott, although Pete would eventually betray him when one of his Blotworx kills Prescott. Regardless, the Mad Doctor would succeed in his goal after he manages to capture Mickey at Dark Beauty Castle and extracts Mickey's heart to use as the Blot's power source.
The Mad Doctor would have eventually fought both Mickey and Oswald at Mean Street using a giant mech, but upon his defeat, he decides to merge with the Shadow Blot to become a powerful Blotworx that he controls from within. In the end, Mickey was forced to destroy his own heart to eliminate the Blotworx, but Yen Sid gave him a new one after witnessing his sacrifice.
