The Joker is the main antagonist of an early version of the 2016 DC film Suicide Squad. As in the final movie, he is set to be portrayed by Jared Leto.
History[]
Unlike the final film where he is a minor antagonist and is mostly involved with Harley, he was intended to be the main antagonist. He survived a burning and gained some ashes for skin.
Personality[]
He is highly abusive towards Harley Quinn.
Trivia[]
- Jared Leto and David Ayer were disappointed that the Joker’s scenes were mostly cut despite Leto having top billing.
- On January 2024, David Ayer decided not to restore his director’s cut of the movie.
