Jonathan Gat is the deuteragonist of the Saints Row franchise. The original concept of the fourth game in the series, then titled Saints Row: Part Four, didn't involve his death in Saints Row: The Third getting retconned. Instead, his clone, created by Ultor, would appear and serve as the game's main antagonist.
Biography[]
In the original story of Saints Row: Part Four, Ultor created a clone of Johnny Gat, seemingly building off of the ending of The Trouble With Clones DLC. The new Gat proceeded to use the same cloning technique to bring some of the infamous dictators from the past back to life, including Cleopatra, Genghis Khan, and, depending on the source, either Joseph Stalin or Adolf Hitler, or both. The cloned villains organised gangs and took over a new, unnamed city, building themed lairs in their respective regions. The rest of the game would presumably involve fighting each of the villains' gangs one by one before confronting Gat himself.
