“ | Han, my boy. There are times you disappoint me. Why haven’t you paid me? And why did you have to fry poor Greedo like that, after all we’ve been through together? | „ |
~ Jabba to Han. |
Jabba the Hutt was a scrapped minor antagonist of the 1977 film Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. He would have been played by Declan Mulholland.
History[]
Unlike the final version of Return of the Jedi, Jabba was intended to be a human being and crime lord who shows up after Han Solo killed Greedo. He wanted 20% of an extra offer but Han recommended 15%.
Appearance[]
Jabba wears a big brown outfit.
Trivia[]
- His deleted scene was restored for the 1997 Special Edition but was replaced with a CGI Hutt to make it more consistent as well as speaking Huttese. The 2004 version improved the CGI.
