Ironbeard was meant to be the main antagonist of Treasure Planet 2, which was cancelled after the first movie failed at the box office. Although not much information is known about him, some fans may thorized that Ironbeard is Jim's long lost father who had been turned into a cyborg.
He was going to be voiced by Willem Dafoe.
Biography[]
Everything was going well for everybody, until Captain Ironbeard and his crew went to hijack "The Centurion", the fastest ship in the galaxy, with Jim and Kate on board. The navy can't catch up with The Centurion because of it's speed, so Ironbeard and his crew get away. Luckily, Jim and Kate escape The Centurion.
Jim and Kate finds Jim's best friend John Silver, who agrees to help Jim and Kate to stop Ironbeard. Jim and Kate then receive a tracking signal from B.E.N., who is currently a hostage for The Centurion. Once they receive that, they follow Ironbeard's vessel with John Silver. Once they catch up, Jim, Kate, and John Silver sneak aboard on The Centurion, where Silver reveals to Jim that he wants to take The Centurion for himself. With his new plan he asked Jim to join him. Kate overhears this and is horrified. But just as this is all happening Ironbeard discovers our three heroes. Eventually John Silver, Kate, and Jim are able to get away, but John Silver is injured and they shoot down John Silver's ship. They crash landed and survive.
On the John Silver reveals he's been trying to smuggle and sell for a fortune which has the power of a neutron bomb. Jim, Kate, and Silver reconcile and worked together to fix Silver's ship and prevent The Centurion filled with the most evil pirates in the galaxy from going on an insane robbing and killing spree.
At the last second, Silver gives up his retirement fund which is the neutron bomb in order to destroy The Centurion with Ironbeard and all of the pirates on board.
