Gigamoth or Gigamoth Type 3 is an planned kaiju to appearcing Micro Super Battle: Godzilla vs Gigamoth and Godzilla vs. Gigamoth.

History

Production

After bringing back King Ghidorah and failing to get the rights to King Kong Toho decided to try to use Mechani-Kong and bring back Mothra with creating an evil double of her dubbed Gigamoth.

However Mechani-Kong was removed due to legal concerns due to not even able to have King Kong's likeliness.

Trivia

• One of the Godzilla vs. Mothra posters show two Mothra Larve like in first movie despite only being one in final version. The early idea of Gigamoth being made from a second Mothra Larve likely can explain it was made before it was finalized.
