Ezekiel Stane, also known as Zeke Stane, was a planned antagonist in The Avengers, before was removed entirely from the script.
He was the son of the deceased Iron Monger, Obadiah Stane. After the death of Iron Monger in Iron Man, Ezekiel seek for revenge for his father, thus he aligned with Loki to fight against Avengers.
Biography[]
Joss Whedon wanted to add him into the film as he afraid that Loki cannot stand as a main villain. Thus a sub plot was added involves Ezekiel Stane fight alongside Loki to seek revenge on Tony Stark for the death of his father Obadiah Stane. Ultimately though, Ezekiel and his role were removed from the script.
