Don Weaso was to appear as a major antagonist in the cancelled video game sequel Conker's Other Bay Day. He would have tried to frame Conker for treason on behalf of the Panther King.
Biography[]
Sometime after the events of Conker's Bad Fur Day, Don Weaso would have somehow been contacted by the deceased Panther King who hires him to frame Conker for treason by stealing the royal treasury from the federal reserve bank. However, by the time Don Weaso successfully steals the loot and hides it away, he is killed by Conker who encounters him at the scene of the crime. Later during the game, after Conker is executed by the state, it is revealed Don Weaso has taken control of the Fire Imps in the Underworld and Conker is forced to do jobs for him so he can return to the land of the living and stop the Panther King's plot to retake the throne.
Developer Rare Ltd originally planned to release Conker's Other Bad Day on the Nintendo GameCube as a sequel to Conker's Bad Fur Day. The game did not get very far into development, with much of the attention focused on making concepts and sketches. Microsoft eventually bought Rare Ltd and expressed no interest in continuing the game's development, favoring a remake of the first game instead. So the project was abandoned.
