Cross-Stitch was slated to be the antagonist of Glover 2, sequel to the cult-classic platformer video game Glover. He would have tricked the series protagonist Glover into restoring his power and attempted to conquer the world.
Biography[]
Leaked prototype builds of the unfinished game revealed that Glovel and his brother Glover were watching over their castle home while their owner, the Wizard, was on a fishing vacation. Glovel tasks Glover to gather ingredients to complete a concoction he was making for a picnic. However, after all the ingredients were thrown into a cauldron, Glovel jumped into the concoction himself and transformed into Cross-Stitch once again, laughing at Glover's gullibility before flying off with the Wizard's spell book. According to the Hub Chicken, Cross-Stitch planned to conquer the world and make everything left-handed. Glover would have to stop him by collecting all the spells from the stolen spell book and finding the Wizard.
The game was 60 percent complete before its cancellation and attempts to finish it by the series creator have been stopped by its right holders Piko Interactive.
