ChaosDoom, also known as Chaos Elementals or Element Legion in various pitches, are major/main antagonists of some story pitches for the cancelled Sonic X-Treme video game. They are a brotherhood of six powerful beings imprisoned inside the Master Emerald, who inadvertently get released from their prison by Dr. Robotnik.

Robotnik cracks open the Master Emerald, expecting some ultimate power to be released from it. Instead, six creatures known as Chaos Elementals come out of it and capture both him and Tails and Knuckles, and hold them prisoner in the city of Gordos. The Chaos Elementals plan further to dominate the world, and as Sonic the Hedgehog is the only one who can pose a threat to them, they seek to get rid of him. They use robots named Element Keepers to fight Sonic, but he gets through all of them. At this point, the Elementals' only hope at winning lies in jointly piloting their ultimate mech, Chaos Mega-bot, to combine their elemental powers against the hedgehog.
Sonic DOOM[]
For thousands of years the six members of ChaosDoom, or Element Legion, lay trapped within the Master Chaos Emerald, watching the outside world. This imprisonment warped both their bodies and minds. In the present day, Robotnik cracks open the Master Emerald, expecting some ultimate power to be released from it. Instead, ChaosDoom is released from the broken gem, and with them the deadly Doom Virus, the poisonous atmosphere suitable only for the Element Legionnaires. Robotnik becomes patient zero of the virus, and gets Sonic infected to force him to find a cure. Meanwhile, ChaosDoom takes over Robotnik's Badniks and continue to spread their evil throughout Mobius and neighbouring dimensions. Since it takes around a year for ChaosDoom members to fully develop outside their "egg", they use their resources to slow Sonic down. They also serve as a potential sequel hook: even if Sonic ultimately finds the cure and defeats Robotnik, the effects of the cure will be permanent only if the Master Emerald is resealed. And as ChaosDoom don't plan on returning to their prison, they will do all they can to prevent this from happening.

ChaosDoom is a brotherhood of six creatures that possess the ability to control six elements: fire, wood, water, metal, lightning and stone. Unlike most inhabitants of Mobius, the Doom Virus causes them no harm. Nevertheless, in the Sonic DOOM pitch, they have one major weakness, namely that they need to restore their bodies after their imprisonment over the course of one year, delaying their threat.

- Chaos, the God of Destruction, from Sonic Adventure - a being that attempted to destroyed the world 3,000 years ago and was sealed within the Master Emerald, until Dr. Eggman broke it open to harness Chaos' power.
- The Deadly Six from Sonic Lost World - six Zeti inhabiting the mythical floating continent of Lost Hex. Dr. Eggman enslaves them to do his bidding, but they break free, hijack his Badnik army, and attempt to destroy the Earth in revenge.
