Big Mama is a antagonist in Rayman Origins who went through a few changes during the game's development.

Big Mama was first shown during an early trailer for Rayman Origins and appears alongside Rayman, Globox and a number of fly enemies at a location not seen in the final release. However, later artwork for the game shows Big Mama's tentacles dangling from the higher reaches of Mystical Pique, suggesting where a confrontation might have taken place.
The true identity of Big Mama seems to have changed at least twice during the game's development, with the creature originally being a character called Mamma Hité; a member of Globox's species that looks similar to Big Mama. Little is known about Mamma Hité other than artwork depicting her holding a fish and a club and her name being a pun on the French cooking show presenter Maïté. In the game's retail release, Mamma Hité is mentioned by the Bubble Dreamer.
Unused dialogue found in demos of Rayman Origins seemingly suggests that Big Mama's true identity was changed to the Bubble Dreamer at some point. He would have acted confused and disoriented after changing back into his true form, unaware of what he has been doing.
