A group of bank robbers stole dozens of money from a New York bank. As they departed with a helicopter, Spider-Man shot his web at the helicopter and it landed in between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center.

- While also shown in a teaser trailer that was recalled because of 9/11, Sam Raimi confirmed that the scene with the bank robbers would have been in the final movie had the tragedy not occurred.
