Armos Titan is a unused enemy from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It is a large humanoid statue with a big green gemstone imbedded on it's chest. They bare some resemblance to the Sacred Grove Guardians in the game's full release.

History[]

The existence of the Armos Titan was first discovered within data files of the Wii and GameCube versions of Twilight Princess. While the enemy's official name is unknown, it came to be known as the Armos Titan due to it's size and the similarities it shares with the recurring Armos enemies in The Legend of Zelda series. Some have also speculated that the enemy could actually be a Armos Knight.

Once spawned into the game, The Armos Titan will stay motionless until Link approaches or attacks it, causing the statue to rise on its feet as the markings on its body start to glow green. The Armos Titan will then follow Link to attack him by swinging one of it's arms with enough force to knock him back. Link can defeat the Armos Titan by shooting three arrows into the gemstone on it's chest or by hitting the gem once with the Ball and Chain weapon. Afterwards, the Armos Titans will cease all movement and remain at the spot where it was defeated, rather than disappear like most enemies.

Although it is unknown exactly how many of these foes would have appeared in the game, the Armos Titan has two beginning animations which suggests that a pair of them might of been encountered at some point. It is also possible that the enemy would have been found at the Sacred Grove, the Temple of Time, or the Twilight Palace.
