4-LOM and Zuckuss were characters set to appear in the cancelled Star Wars Detours animated series, with a prominent role in the episode "Dog Day Afternoon". They are a pair of aspiring but incompetent bounty hunters who attempt to stand out among other criminals and gain recognition.
Biography[]
Zuckus and 4-LOM break into Dexter's Diner in an attempt to rob it and threaten its visitors. Dexter, however, mistakes the two for giant flies and attempts to swat them. After the confusion is cleaned up, he informs the bounty hunters that thanks to Jar Jar Binks there's not much to steal from his diner. 4-LOM and Zuckuss then prepare to leave, though the latter briefly considers holding the diner for ransom, only for the police to arrive on the scene due to a distress call from the waitress. The gangsters panic and try to think of what Boba Fett would do if he was in their place. Dexter tries to defuse the situation by offering to explain it to the cops as a misunderstanding, but Zuckuss insists on being treated as a fearsome criminal, and thus the two "release" Jar Jar to start negotiations and make a number of demands to the police, which they promise to fulfil. As they prepare to leave, Harmony argues that Dexter can't just let the two go. Eventually, the bounty hunters and the diner manager agree on helping each other: the former escape in a delivery box with Lando Carlissian's order, while the latter's diner is blown up, with 4-LOM and Zuckuss named as culprits on holovision. Watching the report about themselves, the two anticipate getting hired by Jabba for their newfound infamy, unaware that the Hutt has slept through the entire report.

- Zuckuss was originally going to choose Bossk as his partner, but failed to due to others claiming that a reptiloid and an instectoid working together didn't look right.
- A running joke in the episode is other characters mixing up 4-LOM and Zuckuss due to how similar they look, a reference to a misprint on the boxes for their action figures.
